in weight, the S8 perfectly combines style with
performance. The chassis in made of Mg-Al alloy

Superb Performance |
The ASUS S8 Series is the first ultra-slim
Notebook PC in the world that uses Intel?
Pentium? III / Celeron CPUs in a upgradeable
mPGA2-package instead of the mBGA-2 package.
Hence, allows more room for upgrades when you
need it. The S8 Series can support CPU
frequencies of up to 850MHz Pentium? III with a
100MHz FSB. It also comes with ASUS? Dynamic
Thermal Dissipation Technology (ADTD), combined
with both active and passive thermal dissipation
designs, achieves the maximum heat exchange rate
in the limited available space. When your system
is running at full speed, the ADTD mechanism
directly dissipates the heat with high-speed
airflows.
