The S8 Series also support the popular Port Replicator solution. It is still available in the form of an optional USB-interface Port Replicator. The new ASUS USB Port Replicator has 4 USB ports, 2 PS/2 ports, Serial, and Printer ports to eliminate the inconvenience of plugging and unplugging legacy connectors of accessories and provide the most complete expansion flexibility. Furthermore, ASUS also provides USB Printer converter cable and USB Video adapter as options to give you features other notebook PCs don't have.

The ASUS S8 Series is the first ultra-slim Notebook PC in the world that uses Intel? Pentium? III / Celeron CPUs in a upgradeable mPGA2-package instead of the mBGA-2 package.
